Welcome to Gunthorpe Explorers, our Pre-school and Out-of-School Childcare facility.

The aim of Gunthorpe Explorers is to provide a safe and welcoming space where children can learn, explore and socialise.  We provide a wide range of learning, social and pastoral activities appropriate to the different age ranges that attend Gunthorpe Explorers. 

Pre-school

Our Pre-school offers a great start to early education by providing structured, play-based activities that build on children's interests and inspires them to find out more about the objects, places and experiences that they have.  We build close links with Bumblebees, our Early Years Reception class, so that children have a successful and smooth transition into school life.

Out-of-School Club

Our school-age children receive safe, fun experiences and activities at our out-of-school club.  A nutritious breakfast and opportunities to play with their friends sets them up for a day at school.  We make sure they safely arrive at their classroom ready to start their school day. 

After a busy day at school, children have a tasty, healthy snack and can play with friends, relax and socialise until it's time for them to be collected.  We offer physical, outdoor activities in our fabulous grounds, craft activities, games and a chance to chill out.
